the setup

the first burn (this one's sacred)

· block out 2–3 hours and let the wax melt all the way to the edges
· wax has a memory. rush the first date and it tunnels forever. we've seen it. it's sad.

every burn after

· trim the wooden wick to 3–4mm — shorter than feels right, trust us
· four hours max per session. it needs rest. honestly, so do you.
· never leave it unattended — it's a tiny fire, not a houseplant
