this site is playful on purpose — but the fun only counts if everybody can use it. here's what's built in, what we're working on, and how to reach us when something's in your way.

motion that takes a hint

if your device asks for reduced motion, everything sits still — the tumbling cans, the roaming sniffers, the confetti, the marquees. the site stays just as nice, minus the gymnastics.

keyboard friendly

menus, accordions, the scent quiz, the cart — all of it works without a mouse. tab through the whole shop; focus is always visible, never trapped.

everything is described

every product photo and every cartoon has written alt text for screen readers. yes, the sniffers are described too. they insisted.

real contrast

ink on cream, checked against wcag contrast targets. the fun colors decorate — they never carry the meaning by themselves.

screen readers get the clean version

decorative doodles, spinning badges, and wandering mascots are hidden from assistive tech, so what's read aloud is the stuff that matters.

type that scales

fluid text sizes that respect your browser settings. zoom to 200% and nothing overlaps, hides, or quietly wanders off the screen.

the honest part

we're building toward wcag 2.1 aa, and we're not going to pretend we're finished. new features ship, browsers change, and sometimes a cartoon nose ends up somewhere it shouldn't. when someone points out a problem, fixing it goes to the top of the list — above new scents, and we take new scents extremely seriously.
