2oz mini — $8 — the auditioner

~12-15 hours of burn. minis exist for three purposes: trying a scent before committing big, gifting in multiples (favors, care packages, teacher gifts), and scenting small spaces — bathrooms, desks, gym bags you're apologizing to. rule of thumb: if you're curious, mini first. noses disagree with descriptions sometimes, and an $8 audition beats a $40 regret.

8oz tin — $22 — the room player

~35-40 hours. right-sized for bedrooms, offices, and one-room apartments. this is the commit-but-flexible size: enough burn time to become part of your routine, small enough to keep several scents in rotation without a dedicated candle shelf (which is coming for you eventually anyway).

16oz paint can — $40 — the anchor

~80 hours. the big tin is for main rooms and main scents — the one that defines what your house smells like. per-hour it's also the best math: roughly fifty cents an hour for a whole-room experience. plus the paint can looks great and reuses brilliantly when it's done.
