5 Ways to Make Your melt. Candle Last Longer

You've found your perfect scent. Now let's make it last as long as possible. Here are our top 5 tips for getting the most out of every melt. candle.

1. Trim your wick before every burn. This is the single most important thing you can do. Trim your wooden wick to 3-4mm before each use. A trimmed wick means a cleaner burn, a more controlled flame, and a longer lasting candle.

2. Let it burn long enough the first time. The first burn is the most important. Let your candle burn until the entire top layer of wax has melted all the way to the edges of the tin — this usually takes 2-3 hours. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn every single time after.

3. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. We know it's tempting to keep it going — especially when it smells this good. But burning for too long causes the wick to overheat and the wax to get too hot. Let your candle cool for at least 2 hours before relighting.

4. Keep it away from drafts. Air conditioning, open windows, and fans cause uneven burning and reduce scent throw. Find a still, cozy spot for your candle and let it do its thing.

5. Store it with the lid on. When you're not burning your candle, keep the lid on. This protects the wax from dust and preserves the fragrance oils so every burn smells just as incredible as the first.

Follow these simple steps and your melt. candle will reward you with hours and hours of pure, intentional luxury.
